The Global Intelligence Files

LONDON—Today, Monday 27 February, WikiLeaks began publishing The Global Intelligence Files – more than five million emails from the Texas-headquartered “global intelligence” company Stratfor. The emails date from between July 2004 and late December 2011. They reveal the inner workings of a company that fronts as an intelligence publisher, but provides confidential intelligence services to large corporations, such as Bhopal’s Dow Chemical Co., Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon and government agencies, including the US Department of Homeland Security, the US Marines and the US Defense Intelligence Agency. I just wish people would be more honest but i suppose that wouldn’t work out too well.

  • Dan says:

AJ is most likely bought and paid for by the government to put out such stupid theories that real conspiracies are ignored. He makes them lose credibility.

  • Joe Smith says:

I feel for Alex. Probably half his audience is crazy paranoid.

  • Robert says:

Honestly Alex Jones is just very noisy. He has to keep making noise otherwise he has nothing to sell. When there is nothing about, they just exaggerate what is available or just make stuff up.

Alex Jones news operation is all about conspiracies and without them the channel has nothing to sell. So in order to feed a regular cycle without an intelligence army able to pry into the secrets of corporations and governments, they are forced to fill their pages with something conspiratorial, anything they can basically think of.

Reality here, is if they were really any good, they would be dead, end of story. The better they were at penetrating the secrets of the global intelligence community, the professionally paranoid, the sooner they would most emphatically eliminate them.

So strictly speaking reasonable analysts (subject to the actual information they are able to get) but strictly amateurs, forced to feed a news cycle, not just any news but a conspiracy news cycle.

  • To follow any man made of flesh and blood regardless of who he is or what he does is never wise.

heres an idea, tell the ppl the truth in the most aggressive, angry, psychotic way; so they think its not the truth. that way they label the rest who believe the truth complete lunatics. classic move here using your enemies weapons against themselves.

It seems very possible. We will probably never know for sure if he is calculated government intelligence (Or some other major power or money center) crazy or just crazy. I’ve never met anyone like Alex Jones, crazy or not cra…….actually everyone living in the west is crazy, but anyway, I lean in the direction that he is not what he seems, whatever that is (maybe just to sell products and make money), partially because he doesn’t act like a real person. I’ve seen it said that if that is so then he would be an unbelievably great actor to a degree that is unreal and beyond any mans scope, but all of these modern media radio celebrities take on a persona and when you do radio the repetition of it all means you can settle into your role in a very slow and casual way. If your role is to be kooky, that makes the role even easier to play because it gives you a very open set of rules for your persona. I think that pretending to act like a crazy person is probably the easiest archtype for an actor to take on. Even terrible actors can be convincing as a crazy person because things like smiling at inappropriate times and flip flopping your opinions is just gonna add ammo to the role.
